Shipping information

At Rukawi, we are committed to delivering your furniture safely, on time, and in perfect condition.

Delivery coverage:
We offer delivery across Australia.

Delivery timeframe:

  • Standard delivery time is 7–15 business days after order confirmation.

  • For custom or bulk orders, delivery time may vary based on design and production requirements.

  • You will be notified with tracking and delivery updates once your order is dispatched.

Delivery charges:

  • Within Australia:
    Delivery fees vary depending on the destination, product size, and total order value.
    All delivery costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on your location and the items in your cart.

 


Return & refund policy

At Rukawi, we are committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring our customers’ satisfaction.
All our refund and return procedures comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Rukawi reserves the right to repair, replace or refund any product in accordance with applicable consumer guarantees.


1. Faulty or damaged products

If you receive a product that is faulty or damaged, you may request a replacement or refund within 15 days from the date of delivery.
To process your claim, the item must be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals and components.

Rukawi will determine the most appropriate remedy—repair, replacement, or refund—depending on the nature of the issue.
In some cases, we may request photos or videos of the fault to speed up the assessment.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, Rukawi may cover the cost of return shipping, subject to prior approval by our customer service team.

Important:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


2. Change of mind returns

If you wish to return an item for reasons other than a fault (for example, a change of mind or ordering error), Rukawi may accept the return at its sole discretion.
Such returns may be subject to a 30% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return, products must:

  • Be unused, undamaged, and in original condition.

  • Include all original packaging, manuals, accessories and labels.

  • Be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date.

Refunds for change-of-mind returns will be processed as a store credit or partial refund, at Rukawi’s discretion.


3. Return procedure

Step 1: Request a return
Contact our customer service team via email or the website contact form, providing:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for the return

  • Photos or details (if applicable)

Step 2: Approval and shipping
Once approved, you will receive return instructions.
We recommend using a tracked and insured courier service to ensure safe delivery.
Rukawi is not responsible for lost or damaged items during return transit.

Step 3: Inspection and resolution
All returned items are carefully inspected upon arrival.
Processing may take up to 10 business days after receipt.


4. Returns may be rejected If

Rukawi reserves the right to decline returns in the following cases:

  • Products that are used, damaged, or altered.

  • Incomplete or missing packaging.

  • Missing accessories, manuals, or components.

  • Returns sent without prior authorisation.

If a return is rejected, the product will be sent back to the customer with a written explanation and photographic evidence.
